Phoebe had many health issues - allergic to many things. I was her third owner at just 9 months old. She was rescue doggy. Toward the end of her life and the cause of her death - she suffered with Kidney Disease. During her last few days her health dropped dramatically where she could not get out of her bed and she could not go up and down the stairs. She couldn't go to the bathroom and her time was up. She needed a special diet and fluid therapy. But throughout the special diet, vet visits and medication trials, and ensuing problems, she was always sweet, happy and loving to everyone she came in contact with until her last day. She was my best friend for 14 years of my life.

Phoebe you will forever be in my heart. I will never forget you you were a huge part of my life since I was a little girl and to get you on my birthday was the best thing to ever happen to me. The best thing was that days before easter I went to church to pray for you. I prayed to my baby brothers in heaven that if I can have you for one more easter and more birthday (April 7, 2015). I prayed that if I can have you to celebrate my 24th birthday but if you were suffering to please take you to doggy heaven because I didn't want you to suffer longer. Guess what!! That is what happened... I got to celebrate my bday with you but you left me on my birthday. I swear god works in mysterious ways which I won't question because you are happy up there. Writing this is hard but I will always love you and have you in my heart. This is not a good bye it is a "see you later". I can't wait to see you and have you lick me hi again.
