Nickname: Pump, Baby

Well what could I say about a perfect companion. A HPD Officer and I Rescued Pumpkin that was chained to a tree and the owner would not let her loose, every time he would let her loose she would run away. The officer came to my house and told me what was going on. So we went over and rescued her. It was Halloween day so we brought her home. I named her Pumpkin and she has been the love of our lives. After a while I got Pumpkin to ride on my golf cart and she loved it. The other thing is that Pumpkin was totally BLIND. No one realized that she was blind. She ran around the house and the yard like she had 20x20 vision. She was so Very Wonderful in every way she could be. When we walked every day she walked without a leash and would never leave my side. Every day three or for times a day I would take her on a golf cart ride and we would check the neighbor hood for any problems. Then one day playing Pumpkin broke her left rear leg playing with another dog. Of course we had a metal plate put in to repair her leg. Of course we could not let her run or jump while her leg was healing. So that's when we built a bed in the golf cart for her to lay on and we road around the are and visited everyone. When the kids were out every kid in the neighborhood would stop us to pet Pumpkin. We will always have her in our heart and in our minds.
