"If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever." We'll always miss you Coco!

Coco - we still miss you and think about you every single day. You are by far the most loving, honest, smartest, sweetest and courteous dog that anyone could ever meet. Not to mention that you are the prettiest girl that anyone has ever seen.

We miss rubbing your belly while gazing into those beautiful, inquisitive brown eyes of yours. We miss playing tug-of-war with you. We miss playing fetch and teaching you new tricks. (Who says old dogs can't learn new tricks? They've certainly never heard you and your "speak" command.) We miss going to bed with you wedged in between. We miss pretending that we are going to steal your bone. (Seriously, Coco. We never really wanted your bone!) We miss hearing your joyful bark when we get home.

We're sorry for all of the times where you slept on the floor. We're sorry for all of the walks that were cut short. You deserved to walk for however long you liked. We're sorry if there is anything else we could have done that we didn't do for you.

We hope that you got as much love and enjoyment from us that we got from you. We hope that you don't feel anymore pain. We hope that you aren't scared. We hope that you aren't anxious or nervous. We hope that you're up above playing in a perfect field with perfect grass. We hope that it's a perfect spring day. We hope that you're soaking in the warmth of the sun while a spring breeze catches your hair. We hope that the breeze sends a single leaf in your direction that you can triumphantly catch. We hope that the day we walk across that field, you remember us, and run towards us with your typical exuberance. We hope that you know that we will all be together once again.

We'll miss you Coco. The house isn't the same without you. There's always going to be a void that you used to fill, an emptiness, that will remain. Knowing that you're in a better place and in no pain offers some solace, but not much. We want you here.

We’ll always love you and remember you Coco. You were the best pet anyone could ever ask for. The love that you showed made all of our lives brighter. And for that we thank you. Until we meet again….
