Yesterday was September 9 2008, and I took "Mommy" to the vet because her lower eye was swollen. The Vet did blood work and it came back that she was diabetic with a level of over 500, and had pancreatic cancer. I took her home and slept with her all night, and we took her back in on Sept. 10 and had her put to sleep. I still can't believe she is gone, my heart has been ripped out and worse yet my other Doxi won't quit crying and looking for her. I don't know if I made the right decision and it is tearing me up inside.
